Processed Meats Declared Too Dangerous for Human ConsumptionBy Mike AdamsThe World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) has just completed a detailed reviewof more than 7,000 clinical studies covering links between diet and cancer. Its conclusion is rocking the health world with startling bluntness:Processed meats are too dangerous for human consumption. Consumers should stop buying and eating all processed meat products for the rest of their lives. Processed meats include bacon, sausage, hotdogs, sandwich meat, packaged ham, pepperoni, salami and virtually all red meat used in frozen prepared meals. They are usually manufactured with a carcinogenic ingredient known as sodium nitrite. This is used as a color fixer by meat companies to turn packaged meats a bright red color so they look fresh. Unfortunately, sodium nitrite also results in the formation of cancer-causing nitrosamines in the human body. And this leads to a sharp increase in cancer risk forthose who eat them. A 2005 University of Hawaii study found that processedmeats increase the risk of pancreatic cancer by 67 percent. Another study revealed that every 50 grams of processed meat consumed daily increases the risk of colorectal cancer by 50 percent. These are alarming numbers. Notethat these cancer risks do not come from eating fresh, non-processed meats. They only appear in people who regularly consume processed meat products containing sodium nitrite.Sodium nitrite appears predominantly in redmeat products (you won't find it in chicken or fish products). Here's a short list of food items to check carefully for sodium nitrite and monosodium glutamate (MSG), another dangerous additive:* Beef jerky* Bacon* Sausage* Hot dogs* Sandwich meat* Frozen pizza with meat* Canned soups with meat* Frozen meals with meat* Ravioli and meat pasta foods* Kid's meals containing red meat* Sandwich meat used at popular restaurants* Nearly all red meats sold at public schools, restaurants, hospitals, hotels and theme parks. If sodium nitrite is so dangerous to humans, why do the FDA and USDA continue to allow this cancer-causing chemical to be used? The answer, of course, is that food industry interests now dominate the actions by U.S. government regulators. The USDA, for example, tried to ban sodium nitrite in the late 1970's but was overridden by the meat industry. It insisted the chemical was safe and accused the USDA of trying to "ban bacon."Today, the corporations that dominate American food and agricultural interests holdtremendous influence over the FDA and USDA. Consumers are offered no real protection from dangerous chemicals intentionally added to foods, medicines and personal care products. You can protect yourself and your family from the dangers of processed meats by following a few simple rules:1. Always read ingredient labels.2. Don't buy anything made with sodium nitrite or monosodium glutamate.3. Don't eat red meats served by restaurants, schools, hospitals, hotels or other institutions. And finally, eat more fresh produce with every meal. There is evidence that natural vitamin C found in citrus fruits and exotic berries (like camu camu) helps prevent the formation of cancer-causing nitrosamines, protecting you from the devastating health effects of sodium nitrite in processed meats. The best defense, of course, is to avoid eating processed meats altogether!*[Ed. 2 Nutrients That Are Vital to Your Heart Health
If you’re over the age of 45, you should not take your heart health
for granted. Heart disease is responsible for the death of 1 in 4
Americans.[1] To put that into perspective, each year, heart disease
kills more people than accidents, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, influenza,
pneumonia, stroke and respiratory disease — combined.[2]
And while there are many ways to keep your heart running strong, you
should be careful not to fall into the trap of thinking that the pills
your doctor recommends are a safe long-term solution. Sadly, the
conventional strategy for balancing cholesterol and averting
heart-related tragedy is deeply flawed.
This is a lot of work and can eventually strain your heart, arteries and veins. What’s more, factors such as poor diet and being overweight add to this strain, causing your heart to work even harder.
Unfortunately, their efforts are turning us into a nation of lifetime pill poppers. By some estimates, 1 in 3 people over the age of 50 are on a cholesterol-lowering drug, with prescriptions being written at a rate of 20,000 per hour. However, the shocking truth is that 99 out of 100 people do not even need these drugs, according to a growing number of experts.
In fact, a recent study published in the British Medical Journal found that less than 3 percent of people get any benefit, and the rest just get risks and complications.[3]
As USA Today reported, these drugs have killed and injured more people than the government has acknowledged.[4]
Not only does CoQ10 help your heart health, it boosts cellular energy throughout your entire body and fights fatigue. In addition, CoQ10 helps to reduce muscle pain and weakness, which are the most commonly reported side effects of cholesterol-lowering drugs.
That’s why you should consider specific dietary supplements as part of a conjunctive strategy for boosting your cardiovascular health quickly and safely. There are several great options out there, but without a doubt, the most promising is something called red yeast rice, which has been an important food staple throughout Asia for centuries.
Here are four easy-to-remember tips:
1. Choose organic red yeast rice because it has been found to be the most effective and free of any potential toxins.
2. Be sure to choose a red yeast rice supplement that also contains CoQ10. Red yeast rice and CoQ10 are a match made in heaven when it comes to heart health.
3. To get an effective daily dose, read the label on the bottle to ensure that it contains 1,200 mg of pure red yeast rice. Anything less and you will not be getting a clinically effective dose.
4. Always look for a supplement made in the United States in an FDA-inspected facility that meets the stringent standards of US Pharmacopeia (USP).
Remember That Your Heart Is Your Engine
Your heart is literally the “engine” that powers your entire body. It works day in and day out to circulate oxygen and crucial nutrients, and on average, needs to beat about 100,000 times a day, which equates to tens of billions of times over the course of your life. This is a lot of work and can eventually strain your heart, arteries and veins. What’s more, factors such as poor diet and being overweight add to this strain, causing your heart to work even harder.
A Strong Heart Is Not Just About Living Longer
There’s no question that a poorly performing heart can lead to premature death. But suboptimal heart function can also result in “mystery” symptoms such as fatigue, chronic pain and decreased mental function, just to name a few. If you have nagging health problems that just won’t go away, there is a chance that the root cause can be found within your cardiovascular system.Beware of Big Pharma’s Cholesterol-Lowering Pills
Big Pharma has developed a variety of pills aimed at “improving” cholesterol ratios and cardiovascular function. They spend billions each year on advertising and employ an army of sales reps who market directly to doctors.Unfortunately, their efforts are turning us into a nation of lifetime pill poppers. By some estimates, 1 in 3 people over the age of 50 are on a cholesterol-lowering drug, with prescriptions being written at a rate of 20,000 per hour. However, the shocking truth is that 99 out of 100 people do not even need these drugs, according to a growing number of experts.
Conventional Treatments Are Unsafe and Ineffective
Emerging research is showing that cholesterol medications are not the wonder drugs they were once thought to be. Their effects wear off quickly if you stop taking them; they do little to raise good cholesterol; and while they make your “numbers” look good, they actually do little to decrease cardiovascular-related deaths. In fact, a recent study published in the British Medical Journal found that less than 3 percent of people get any benefit, and the rest just get risks and complications.[3]
Little Benefit… But Lots of Side Effects
Many people experience fatigue and aches and pains within days of beginning to take cholesterol-lowering medications. They report memory loss, headaches, difficulty sleeping, dizziness and nausea. However, what is extremely scary is that some of these medications can actually cause more serious problems, including death. As USA Today reported, these drugs have killed and injured more people than the government has acknowledged.[4]
Depleting a Vital Nutrient Your Body Needs
It is widely known that cholesterol-lowering medications severely deplete your body’s natural levels of CoEnzyme Q10 (CoQ10), which is very dangerous. A Columbia University study found that within 30 days, your levels of CoQ10 can be decreased by half.[5]Not only does CoQ10 help your heart health, it boosts cellular energy throughout your entire body and fights fatigue. In addition, CoQ10 helps to reduce muscle pain and weakness, which are the most commonly reported side effects of cholesterol-lowering drugs.
Do Your Heart a Favor – Try Natural Options First
The best thing you can do for your heart health is to exercise and eat well. However, making lifestyle changes is easier said than done — and even if you start today, it could take months or years to get back on track. That’s why you should consider specific dietary supplements as part of a conjunctive strategy for boosting your cardiovascular health quickly and safely. There are several great options out there, but without a doubt, the most promising is something called red yeast rice, which has been an important food staple throughout Asia for centuries.
A Strong Heart and Balanced Cholesterol
Dozens of clinical studies published in prestigious medical journals, such as the Annals of Internal Medicine[6] and the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition,[7] have proven that naturally occurring compounds found in red yeast rice effectively balance cholesterol ratios quickly and with no side effects. Unfortunately, many people do not even know about red yeast rice because few doctors have the time to keep up on the latest research, especially when a natural compound is involved. Not All Red Yeast Rice Is Created Equal
Red yeast rice may be one of the most effective ways to balance cholesterol ratios and support optimal heart function quickly and with no side effects, but it’s critical to choose the right red yeast rice supplement.

Papaya, the good common fruit has medical benefits
Papaya
The gorgeous Fruit....Papaya.... Make sure that you have some as often as possible. Read all about it. Papaya
was the only studied food found to halt breast cancer. Scientists
studied 14 plant foods commonly consumed in Mexico to determine their
ability to halt breast cancer cell growth. These included avocado, black
sapodilla, guava, mango, prickly pear cactus (nopal), pineapple,
grapes, tomato, and papaya. They also evaluated beta-carotene, total
plant phenolics, and gallic acid contents and antioxidant capacity. They
found that only papaya had a significant effect on stopping breast
cancer cell growth. (International Journal of Food Science and
Nutrition, May issue). Papaya
is a store-house of cancer-fighting lycopene. The intense orangey-pink
colour of papaya means it is chock full of cancer fighting carotenoids.
Not only beta carotene, but lycopene is found in abundance. The
construction of lycopene makes it highly reactive towards oxygen and
free radicals. Scientists at the University of Illinois think this
anti-oxidant activity contributes to its effectiveness as a cancer
fighting agent. Epidemiological studies have indicated an inverse
relationship between lycopene intake and prostate cancer risk. They
showed that oral lycopene is highly bio available, accumulates in
prostate tissue, and is localised in the nucleus of prostate epithelial
cells. In addition to antioxidant activity, other experiments have
indicated that lycopene induces cancer cell death, anti-metastatic
activity, and the up-regulation of
protective enzymes. Phase I and II studies have established the safety
of lycopene supplementation. (Cancer Letter, October 8, 2008). Prostate
cancer was the subject of a study in Australia that looked at 130
prostate cancer patients and 274 hospitalized controls. The scientists
found that men who consumed the most lycopene-rich fruits and vegetables
such as papaya were 82% less likely to have prostate cancer. In this
study, green tea also exerted a powerful anti-cancer effect. When
lycopene-rich foods were consumed with green tea, the combination was
even more effective, an outcome the researchers credited to their
synergy. ( Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2007). Isothiocyanates found in papaya restore the cell cycle to
eliminate cancer. Organo-sulphur compounds called isothiocyanates are
found in papaya. In animal experiments, isothiocyanates protected
against cancers of the breast, lung, colon, pancreas, prostate, as well
as leukaemia, and they have the potential to prevent cancer in humans.
Isothiocyanates have shown themselves capable of inhibiting both the
formation and development of cancer cells through multiple pathways and
mechanisms. (International Journal of Oncology, October, 2008). Researchers
in Japan clarified the mechanisms of action in a type of isothiocyanate
found in papaya known as BITC, which underlies the relationship between
cell cycle regulation and appropriate cell death. When cancerous cells
die on schedule, they are no longer a problem. The
researchers established that BITC exerted cancer cell killing effects
that were greater in the proliferating cells than in the quiescent
cells. Cancer cells that are proliferating are much more dangerous than
cancer cells that are in a state of dormancy. (Forum of Nutrition,
2009). Enzymes
from papaya digest proteins including those that protect tumours. The
fruit and other parts of the papaya tree, also known as the paw paw
tree, contain papain and chymopapain, powerful proteolytic enzymes that
facilitate chemical reactions in the body. They promote digestion by
helping to break down proteins from food into amino acids that can be
recombined to produce protein useable by humans. Proteolytic enzymes
protect the body from inflammation and help heal burns.
They do a good job of digesting unwanted scar tissue both on the skin
and under its surface. Being a proteolytic enzyme, papain is able to
destroy intestinal parasites, which are composed mostly of protein. To
rid the body of intestinal parasites, half a cup of papaya juice can be
alternated each hour for twelve consecutive hours with the same amount
of cucumber or green bean juice. Research
has shown that the physical and mental health of people is highly
dependent on their ability to produce proteins they can use effectively.
However, as people age, they produce less of the enzymes needed to
effectively digest proteins from food and free needed amino acids. They
are left with excessive amounts of undigested protein which can lead to
overgrowth of unwanted bacteria in the intestinal tract, and a lack of
available amino
acids. Eating papaya after a meal promotes digestion, and helps prevent
bloating, gas production, and indigestion. It is quite helpful after
antibiotic use to replenish friendly intestinal bacteria that were the
casualties in the war against the unwanted bacteria. When the intestinal
tract is well populated with friendly bacteria, the immune system is
strengthened, and can protect better against flu and cancer. Papaya
contains fibrin, another useful compound not readily found in the plant
kingdom. Fibrin reduces the risk of blood clots and improves the
quality of blood cells, optimising the ability of blood to flow through
the circulatory system. Fibrin is also important in preventing stokes.
Proteolytic enzymes containing fibrin are a good idea for long plane
rides to minimize the potential of blood clots in the legs.
People who sit at a desk all day might want to use proteolytic enzymes
too. Proteolytic enzymes are able to digest and destroy the defence
shields of viruses, tumours, allergens, yeasts, and various forms of
fungus. Once the shield is destroyed, tumours and invading organisms are
extremely vulnerable and easily taken care of by the immune system.
Undigested proteins can penetrate the gut and wind up in the bloodstream
where they are treated by the immune system as invaders. If too many
undigested proteins are floating around, the immune system becomes
overburdened and unable to attend to the other tasks it was meant to do.
Proteolytic enzymes can digest these rogue proteins, freeing up the
immune system. Let's ensure a slice of papaya every day in our diet. Papaya juice will be great. . Have a great day.....along with a slice of papaya.

The Best Foods to Protect Your Heart
We all know that eating lots of fruits and vegetables is important
for our overall health. But why? What makes plant-based foods so good
for us?
For one, eating a wide variety of fruits and veggies every day
provides you with a natural source of vitamins and minerals that you
need to feel and be healthy. But plant-based foods also contain
countless other compounds that are not as well known, but nonetheless
have profound and far-reaching health benefits.
One such set of compounds is flavonoids. These antioxidant powerhouses found in various fruits and vegetables (and even dark chocolate) combat inflammation in the body, fight heart disease and aging, and protect against Alzheimer’s disease and even certain forms of cancer.
Heart disease is a big one, considering it is the top health concern in our country. Who wouldn’t want to reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease by simply adding a few extra flavonoid-rich foods into their diet?
Even better, though, is that researchers are learning that it doesn’t take a whole lot of flavonoid intake to have a huge positive effect on heart health and cardiovascular disease mortality.
These participants completed in-depth questionnaires, which included a 152-item food frequency questionnaire. During seven years of follow-up, 1,589 men and 1,182 women died of cardiovascular disease.
The researchers discovered that the participants who had the highest total flavonoid intake had a much lower risk of fatal cardiovascular disease. However, they concluded that consuming even relatively small amounts of flavonoid-rich food was beneficial. [1]
You can even find them in red wine (since it’s made from red grapes) and all types of tea — black, green, white and oolong, although green tea has the highest amount since the leaves are the most minimally processed.
Pomegranates, in particular, have become one of the latest darlings in the natural health world — especially when it comes to heart protection. One study found that pomegranates — and pomegranate juice — can help keep high-risk cardiovascular patients with severe carotid artery stenosis from needing surgery. Results showed that pomegranate juice consumption by these patients decreased the thickness of carotid arteries and reduced systolic blood pressure (the top number).[2]
Apples, berries and onions have also been touted for their heart protective factors, thanks to their abundance of the flavonoid quercetin. Researchers found that this potent antioxidant reduces blood pressure, as well as the risk of heart disease and stroke.[3]
All you need to do to boost your flavonoid intake is add as many of these foods or beverages to your daily diet as possible. Of course, with red wine and dark chocolate, moderation is key. One four-ounce glass of wine per day is plenty, as is one or two small squares of the darkest chocolate you can find.

A Little Goes a Long Way
To see exactly how much of an effect flavonoids had on cardiovascular disease mortality, researchers examined flavonoid intake and heart disease death rates among 38,180 men and 60,289 women who took part in the Cancer Prevention Study II Nutrition Cohort in 1999.These participants completed in-depth questionnaires, which included a 152-item food frequency questionnaire. During seven years of follow-up, 1,589 men and 1,182 women died of cardiovascular disease.

How to Add Flavonoids to Your Diet
It’s really quite easy to make sure you are getting flavonoids in your diet. Some of the most delicious foods and beverages on Earth contain these compounds. In addition to decadent dark chocolate (the higher the cacao content, the better), foods rich in flavonoids include apples, blueberries, broccoli, onions, strawberries, red grapes, pomegranates and cabbage. You can even find them in red wine (since it’s made from red grapes) and all types of tea — black, green, white and oolong, although green tea has the highest amount since the leaves are the most minimally processed.

Benefits of eggs far outweigh its negative values
1. Eggs and milk are among the best foods for the body especially to a growing child.
2. Eggs do not cause an elevation of blood cholesterol
3. Eggs do not clog up the coronary vessels as once thought. In fact the opposite is now true
4. Eggs are low in energy value, and is a factor to consider in the formulation of a caloric-restriction diet
5. Eggs protein quality is extremely high, and has a very high nitrogen-retention value. Hence it is extremely useful in post-surgical care, trauma, and in post-management of hypovolemic shock against negative nitrogen balance
6. Eggs contain vitamin D in its natural form. The benefits of vitamin D require several chapters on human nutrition in medicine to discuss. And I refuse to repeat
7. Eggs are cancer-protective, especially for breast cancer
8. Eggs are very rich in sulfur-containing amino acids methionine which is a very crucial amino-acid in blocking damaging free radicals. These are directly linked to the pathogenesis of heart disease, cancers, DNA damage, all degenerative disorders, and accelerated aging.
9. Eggs protect against fatty liver, slow growth, macular degeneration (degeneration of the macula area of the retina in the eyes. This is responsible for central vision for reading, face recognition and detailed vision), edema (water retention), and various skin lesions
10. Eggs promote healthy growth of nails, hair and skin
11. Eggs are rich in tryphophan, selenium, iodine, and riboflavin (vitamin B2)
12. Eggs selenium content is cardio-protective against Keshan disease, cardiomyopathies (diseases involving the heart muscles, cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), myocardial dysfunction (poor heart function) and death from heart failure.
13. Eggs are protective against Kashin-Beck disease (osteoarthropathy), myxedematous endemic cretinism (mental retardation)

CLEANSING YOUR KIDNEYS
Years pass by and our kidneys are filtering the blood by removing
salt, poison and any unwanted materials entering our body. With
time, the
salt and unwanted materials accumulate, and this needs to undergo cleansing treatments. How are we going to do it? It is very
easy, first take a bunch of
parsley and wash it clean. Then cut it into small pieces. Put it in a
pot and add clean water and boil it for ten minutes. Let it cool
down and then filter it. Pour the portion into a clean bottle and keep it inside
the refrigerator to cool. Drink one glass daily and you will notice all salt
and other accumulated poison coming out of your kidney by urination
also you will be able to notice the difference which you never felt
before. Parsley is known as best cleansing treatment for kidneys and it

REMOVING GALLSTONES NATURALLY by Dr Lai Chiu-Nan It has worked for many. If it works for you please pass on the good news. Chiu Nan is not charging for it, so we should make it free for everyone. Your reward is when someone, through your word of mouth, benefits from the regime. Gallstones may not be everyone's concern. But they should be because we all have them. Moreover, gallstones may lead to cancer. 'Cancer is never the first illness,' Chiu Nan points out. 'Usually, there are a lot of other problems leading to cancer. In my research in China, I came across some materials which say that people with cancer usually have stones. We all have gallstones. It's a matter of big or small, many or few. One of the symptoms of gallstones is a feeling of bloatedness after a heavy meal. You feel like you can't digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area.' So if you think you have gallstones, Chiu Nan offers the following method to remove them naturally. The treatment is also good for those with a weak liver, because the liver and gallbladder are closely linked. Regimen: 1. For the first five days, take four glasses of apple juice every day . Or eat four or five apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the five days, eat normally. 2. On the sixth day, take no dinner. 3. At 6 PM, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water. 4. At 8 PM, repeat the same. Magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts. 5. At 10 PM, take half cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage. PS. 1cup=250ml, 1/2 cup lemon juice=3 lemons (aprox.) The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools. 'Usually they float,' Chiu Nan notes. 'You might want to count them. I have had people who passes 40, 50 or up to 100 stones. Very many.' 'Even if you don't have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It's always good to give your gall bladder a clean-up now and then.

History
When cancer strikes a family, what course of action should one take? Dr. Tateishi Kazu's father and brother both died of cancer. And then he found himself suffering from cancer of the duodenum and spreading. His stomach was removed, but the cancer cells had spread to his lungs. He resolved to fight for his life. He researched, studied and tested over 1,500 types of herbs and plants. Eventually he discovered the right combination of ingredients and formulated a unique healing vegetable soup and brown rice tea with its own molecular powers. The vegetables are rich in green chlorophyll, amino acids, iron, phosphorous, calcium, all in a natural form.
He based his soup on the principles of Five Elements theory, the harmonizing balance of the forces of yin and yang, acid and alkaline that engenders health as opposed to the imbalance, which leads to disease.
The five elements in our environment are wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Because of the balance of the five elements, the earth is able to produce life. Dr. Tataishi Kazu used the essence of the five elements. Each essence possesses its own color: green, red, yellow, white and black. These relate to the corresponding internal organs: heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidneys. He used the concept of the five different colors as matched to specific vegetables.
- Green/Daikon Radish Leaves
- Red/Carrot
- Yellow/Burdock Root
- White/Daikon Radish
- Black/Shittake Mushrooms
Notes: This is a remedy for all age groups. When the soup is ingested, it produces thirty different elements for fighting disease. Within three days, it can stop the growth of cancer cells. Even for some last-stage cancer patients, it can lead to 100% remission. Patients who have subsisted on feeding tubes for nourishment, when given the soup, after two days regained their strength. Over 10,000 last-stage cancer patients have used this remedy. 99% are alive and were able to return to work. Bottom of Form 1.
Vegetable Soup Recipe - (2 day's quantity)
Ingredients: -

For diabetics, it can bring the sugar level down by producing more natural insulin in the body. It cleanses the blood and blood vessel. A person with a heart condition drinking both soups in 20 days will be able to regulate their problem by drinking three cups per day. For a regular cancer patient, about two cups.
1.- 1 cup brown rice2. 16 cups water
Note: only cook in stainless steel or glass. Do not mix with any other ingredients. Don't be "creative."
Directions: -
1. Roast the rice without oil until dark brown but don't burn. Boil 8 cups of water and pour roasted rice into water. Turn off flame, cover and let sit five minutes. Strain out rice and reserve liquid.
2. Boil 8 more cups of water. Put the remaining rice back in the water. Cover, lower flame and simmer five minutes. Strain rice out. Mix the two rice waters together.
Special Notes: -- The amount one needs depend on the condition. The more serious the condition, the more tea.

Q1: Are ingredients of the vegetable soup recipe measured in fluid ounces or real weights?
A1: Dr. Antonia Martinez Director of the Healing Spirit said that their recipe uses the real weights and not the fluid ounces as in other food recipes.
Q2: Do people using the Vegetable Soup have side effects or reactions?
A2 : Depending on individual bodies, some people using the Vegetable Soup could have side effects/reactions. Reactions are classified in 2 categories: -
Natural Reaction: Ingredients in the Vegetable soup have lots of medicinal effects and contain chemicals that are working on human cells to make them better and stronger, and in the same time purify and cleanse blood stream to push out LDL (bad cholesterol) and fat. Reactions could be itches on the skin, itches around eyes, blurring eyes but these reactions will go away in a few days. If reactions persist stop the HLEF for a few weeks and start again.
Patient or user mistakes could be ranging from: -- (1) using the wrong kind of ingredients especially the Chinese mushrooms instead of the Japanese Shiitakes.
- (2) the proportion of vegetables making the soup is not followed closely.
- (3) using wrong type of saucepan. Must use stainless steel saucepan to cook.
- (4) vegetable soup left outside in room temperature more than 6 hours can turn out to have bad smelling or color changes to green or white. Throw it away at once. Vegetable Soup should be stored in glass container and refrigerated.
- (5) drinking the Vegetable Soup and the Brown Rice solution together or in the same time. People are reporting serious reactions when taking those two solutions in the same time. Must drink them separately with half-hour or one hour apart.
Q3: How much vegetable soup can one consume a day?
A3: For:
- Diabetes take 600 cc of Brown rice (BR) solution in the morning and 400 cc of Vegetable Soup (VS) in the afternoon.
- Heart problem: 300 cc of BR and 600 cc of VS
- Gall stones: 600 cc of BR and 600 cc of VS.
- Other diseases: About 600 cc (2.5 cups) of VS a day divided in 3 rations before meals.
IMPORTANT NOTE
DO NOT DRINK Vegetable Soup and Brown Rice Solution in the same time. The interval needed between consumption of BR and VS must be at least 30 minutes or 1 hour apart to be safe.
Burdock
This herb gets its name from bur, for its tenacious burrs, and dock old English for plant. Many scientists are skeptical about Burdock and its uses. However, as a healing herb it has a potential for treating cancer. Early Chinese physicians, as well as Ayurvedic healers, used Burdock as a remedy for colds, flu, throat infections and pneumonia. During the 14th Century, its leaves were pounded in wine and used to treat leprosy. From 1930-1950, Burdock was used as an ingredient in alternative cancer treatments.
The FDA noted that too much of this herb can cause side effects and lists Burdock as an herb of "undefined safety". However, German researchers have discovered fresh Burdock root contains polyacetylenes, a chemical that kills disease-causing bacteria and fungi. It also reduces mucus and prevents formation of gall and kidney stones. As Burdock contains vitamin A and selenium, it can eliminate free radicals.
Its chromium content helps regulate blood sugar levels. Other qualities of this herb, set forth in the magazine Chemotherapy, identified a chemical (arctigenin) in Burdock which acts as an inhibitor of tumor growth.
!!! This herb should not be used by pregnant women.!!!
History
Burdock is also known by the names Bardane, Clotburr, Beggars Buttons, Gypsy Rhubarb, Gobo, and Burr. In traditional herbal texts, Burdock Root is described as a "blood purifier" or "alterative", and was believed to clear the bloodstream of toxins.
Medicinally, Burdock Root has been used both internally and externally for eczema and psoriasis, as well as to treat painful joints and as a diuretic.
In traditional Chinese medicine, Burdock Root, in combination with other herbs, is used to treat sore throats, tonsillitis, colds, and even measles.
It is eaten as a vegetable in Japan and elsewhere. Burdock is a mild laxative. It also aids in the elimination of uric acid. The herb contains polyacetylenes that have both anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties. By improving the function of many organs of elimination (liver, kidneys, bowels), many health conditions can be improved.
Burdock Root contains high amounts of inulin and mucilage. This may explain its soothing effects on the gastrointestinal tract. Bitter constituents in the root may also explain the traditional use of Burdock to improve digestion. The polyacetylene constituents have also been shown to have anti-microbial activity. Burdock Root (and the fruit) also has the ability to mildly lower blood sugar (hypoglycemic effect).
Medicinal Action and Uses
Alterative, diuretic and diaphoretic. One of the best blood purifiers. In all skin diseases, it is a certain remedy and has effected a cure in many cases of eczema, either taken alone or combined with other remedies, such as Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla.
The root is principally employed, but the leaves and seeds are equally valuable. Both root and seeds may be taken as a decoction of 1 OZ. to 1 1/2 pint of water, boiled down to a pint, in doses of a wineglassful, three or four times a day.
The anti-scorbutic properties of the root make the decoction very useful for boils, scurvy and rheumatic affections, and by many it is considered superior to Sarsaparilla, on account of its mucilaginous, demulcent nature; it has in addition been recommended for external use as a wash for ulcers and scaly skin disorders.
An infusion of the leaves is useful to impart strength and tone to the stomach, for some forms of long-standing indigestion.
When applied externally as a poultice, the leaves are highly resolvent for tumours and gouty swellings, and relieve bruises and inflamed surfaces generally. The bruised leaves have been applied by the peasantry in many countries as cataplasms to the feet and as a remedy for hysterical disorders.
From the seeds, both a medicinal tincture and a fluid extract are prepared, of benefit in chronic skin diseases. Americans use the seeds only, considering them more efficacious and prompt in their action than the other parts of the plant. They are relaxant and demulcent, with a limited amount of tonic property. Their influence upon the skin is due largely to their being of such an oily nature: they affect both the sebaceous and sudoriferous glands, and probably owing to their oily nature restore that smoothness to the skin which is a sign of normal healthy action.
The infusion or decoction of the seeds is employed in dropsical complaints, more especially in cases where there is co-existing derangement of the nervous system, and is considered by many to be a specific for all affections of the kidneys, for which it may with advantage be taken several times a day, before meals.
Treats certain cancers, prevents diabetes
Burdock's name is a combination of bur, for its spiked seed covers - burrs - that grab onto anything that touches them, and dock, Old English for "plant." Many scientists dismiss burdock as useless, but like its seeds, its reputation as an herbal healing agent clings tenaciously because of its subtle tonic benefits and its intriguing potential as a treatment for cancer.
Throughout history, burdock has been recommended for an astonishing number of illnesses. Ancient Chinese physicians used it to treat colds, coughs, tonsillitis, measles, skin infections and snakebite. Traditional European and American herbalists and homeopaths prescribed it for colds, arthritis, gout, stomach problems, fever, canker sores, leprosy, boils, gonorrhea, ringworm and infertility. They also considered it an excellent diuretic, and prescribed it for urinary tract infections, kidney problems and painful urination.
True, burdock is not powerfully therapeutic. But Daniel B. Mowrey, PhD, director of the American Phytotherapy Research Laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah, and author of The Scientific Validation of Herbal Medicine, insists that it deserves its enduring place in herbal healing because of its value as a tonic - a subtle strengthener with cumulatively helpful effects.
"Burdock's action is mild, but real," Dr. Mowrey explains. "It has antibacterial and antiviral powers, and it reduces blood sugar, which helps prevent diabetes. I recommend using a little every day. And when you're ill, use it in addition to standard therapies."

Health Benefits of Okra (Lady's Finger)
by: Junji Takano
The world's most beautiful women, Cleopatra of Egypt(recent findings found she was not a beauty) and Yang Guifei( a plump woman) of China loved to eat okra according to the history record.

Yang Guifei of China

When we visited the world's most productive land of okra in a rural area in Kami, Kochi Prefecture , Japan , the young and old all look very healthy. When we asked their secret in having good health in that area, they graciously answer “okra”.
Okra has a long history, with its beginnings in Egypt where it is cultivated before the time of Cleopatra. The okra plant spread to many parts of the world during the Atlantic slave trade. During World War II, the shortage of coffee beans made them use okra seeds as a substitute for coffee. This incident made the word “okra fever”. Since then, okra's popularity never disappeared from local markets to convenience stores throughout the world and throughout the year.
Nutritional Information
Okra contains vitamins A and C and is a good source of iron and calcium. It also contains starch, fat, ash, thiamine and riboflavin. No wonder, Cleopatra and Yang Guifei maintained their beauties.

Health Benefits of Okra
1. The superior fiber found in okra helps to stabilize the blood sugar by curbing the rate at which sugar is absorbed from the intestinal tract.
2. Okra's mucilage binds cholesterol and bile acid carrying toxins dumped into it by the filtering liver.
3. Okra helps lubricate the large intestines due to its bulk laxative qualities. The okra fiber absorbs water and ensures bulk in stools. This helps prevent and improve constipation. Unlike harsh wheat bran, which can irritate or injure the intestinal tract, okra's mucilage soothes, and okra facilitates elimination more comfortably by its slippery characteristic. Okra binds excess cholesterol and toxins (in bile acids). These, if not evacuated, will cause numerous health problems. Okra also assures easy passage out of waste from the body. Okra is completely non-toxic, non-habit forming, has no adverse side effects, is full of nutrients, and is economically within reach of most individuals unlike over-the-counter drugs.
4. Okra fiber is excellent for feeding the good bacteria (probiotics). This contributes to the health of the intestinal tract.
5. Okra is a supreme vegetable for those feeling weak, exhausted, and suffering from depression.
6. Okra is used for healing ulcers and to keep joints limber. It helps to neutralize acids, being very alkaline, and provides a temporary protective coating for the digestive tract.
7. Okra treats lung inflammation, sore throat, and irritable bowel syndrome.
8. Okra has been used successfully in experimental blood plasma replacements.
9. Okra is good for summer heat treatment.
10. Okra is good for constipation.
11. Okra is good in normalizing the blood sugar and cholesterol level.
12. Okra is good for asthma. Okra's vitamin C is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, which curtail the development of asthma symptoms.
13. Okra is good for atherosclerosis.
14. Okra is believed to protect some forms of cancer expansion, especially colorectal cancer.
15. Eating okra helps to support the structure of capillaries.
16. Some information shows that eating okra lowers the risk of cataracts.
17. Okra is good for preventing diabetes.
18. Okra protects you from pimples and maintains smooth and beautiful skin. We understand the reason why Cleopatra and Yang Guifei loved to eat okra.
There are other medicinal uses of okra, like its protection against trans fats.
I myself planted about 25 stems of okra in my backyard garden throughout the year for over 20 years now. I can pick up about 20 pieces of okra pod every morning. All okra pods are consumed by my family. There are hundreds of recipes that can be done. You can either: cut it raw and mix with vinegar and pepper; cut it raw and mix with mayonnaise; steam, cut, with mayonnaise dressing; or, cook with stew or soup.
Okra is easy to grow anywhere during summer season in cold countries and throughout the year in tropical areas. You can even plant it in a container garden at the terrace in condominium buildings.
Inventor of PYRO-ENERGEN, the author, Mr. Takano himself picks up Okra in his backyard garden
To tell you the truth, I did not know that okra seed was used as a substitute for coffee beans during World War II. I have about 500 grams of okra seeds, so I roasted one-half of it using an iron cast pan, and pulverized it. I made okra coffee with it, and it tasted like real coffee although it was darker in color. When I offered the okra coffee to my staffs and visitors who did not know the real thing, they replied "Oh, you got a new blend of coffee, taste is good". I blended it with real coffee, too. It tastes all right. We do not know, however, what nutrients okra coffee gives.
